non-holiday special days ...

any day can be a special day to make memories! what do YOU do on the first day of school, when a tooth falls out, when someone gets an award (or works hard trying), when your child learns to drive a car, has that first date? what about prom or graduation day? how do you celebrate your child getting a college degree/graduate degree/new job? or when your child has just found out he/she is expecting a baby? or grandfather has retired? what do you do to make memories (or traditions ... or just show you care) on these non-holiday very special days? we want to learn from YOU! for life's moments! when my husband and I first married (43 years ago!), we bought a red, round plastic plate that came out on special occasions ... at the birth of a child, on Father's Day, on a birthday, when a child learned to ride a bike, when great attempts were made, on Prom Night and Graduation, on our daughter's wedding day ... now the red plate has appeared on the birth day of each of our five grandchildren ... if that red plate could talk, it would tell of precious memories ...
