family notes and gestures ...
do you have special places and ways you leave notes for your children? do you have a family hug or handshake? do you have a special thing you say when you say "good night" or "hello" or "good bye"? do you have your own special family sayings for your young children ... or sayings you have continued with your grown children? please ... share with US! thanks! When holding hands with my kids, one of us will squeeze four times. Then the other squeezes four times in reply. It means, "Do you love me?" (one squeeze for each word) and the reply, "Yes I love you!" (again, one squeeze for each word.)
We siblings sign off our emails to each other with LYMI, which stands for "Love ya, mean it!"
